The costs of duplicating the Upfield line, to transform it into the frequent service our community needs, is estimated to be around $600 million. Without a commitment to funding the duplication, other parties aren’t serious about improving public transport for the people of Wills and those living further north. Access to public transport is an equity issue. Our communities is in the north are spending more money and hours just to be able to get to work and the places they need to go. They are forced to rely on cars or commute for hours, all because Labor has not looked after them. We can’t keep voting for the same parties and expect a different result. 10 minute trains are in reach. We just need to vote for them. Vote 1 Greens for more reliable and frequent public transport. 💚
